Cooking Hint:

Pepperoni is Italian salami made of pork and beef and is highly seasoned with back and red pepper.  It is popular as a topping for pizzas and is often used in appetizers and sandwiches.  Pepperoni can be purchased in slices or chunks and either type is suitable for this recipe.
