Red Gold is proud to announce it was awarded the SYSCO 2008 SILVER SUPPLIER AWARD.  Sysco Corporation is the global leader in the foodservice industry and is Red Gold’s largest foodservice customer.  Each year Sysco recognizes its top performing suppliers.  According to Reuters Press Release, the 2008 Supplier Recognition recipients were selected from over 2,000 eligible suppliers located across the world. All Top 100 finalists were selected based on key business performance metrics with critical evaluation by Sysco’s U.S. broadline distribution companies, Sysco’s Corporate Merchandising, Sourcing, Quality Assurance and Supply Chain Services departments.  Red Gold received the twenty-ninth spot out of the Top 100 finalists.  The award winners are announced to the entire foodservice industry, which recognizes Red Gold as a top performing supplier.  The SYSCO 2008 SILVER SUPPLIER AWARD is an honor for Red Gold to receive and share with Red Gold Employees.
