Red Gold is a sponsor of Rubicon Racing for the Indianapolis 500 Mile Race - keep an eye on car #44 driven by Max Papis.   Max Papis will attempt to qualify and drive the Rubicon Race Team entry for the 92nd Indianapolis 500 on May 25th in a car prepared to spec by Indy Pro Series meister-mechanics Sam Schmidt Motorsports.

According to IndyProRacer.com, Papis who is widely regarded as one of the most versatile race car drivers in the world will attempt to make his third start in the famed "Greatest Spectacle in Racing" in a Dallara/Honda/Firestone car owned by Jim Freudenberg and Jason Priestley.

"Mad Max", as he's affectionately called by his fans, last raced over the 2.5 mile oval in May 2006; finishing fourteenth for Eddie Cheever Racing.

Papis, whose father-in-law is legendary racer, Emerson Fittipaldi, looks forward to his return to the historic Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
