NILA JOHNSON RETIRES FROM RED GOLD

ELWOOD—Nila Johnson retired from Red Gold on January 3, 2008, following 27 years of service. Nila began her career with Red Gold in 1980 as a seasonal timekeeper when the company purchased Fettig Canning. In 1986, when Red Gold became a year-around employer, Nila became a full-time employee. From 1986 to 2008, Nila served the company as a timekeeper, Human Resources Coordinator, and later was promoted to Human Resources Manager. Nila’s service and numerous accomplishments were celebrated this week as retirees and current Elwood employees gathered for her retirement ceremony.
