While our average fresh tomato pack lasts only 12 weeks during the harvest season, 40,000 hours are devoted to quality testing each summer. This includes over 361,000 tests to assure we are providing our customers “the freshest, best tasting tomato products in the world” every time. The careful, consistent efforts of our food science specialists allow us to consistently produce the highest quality, best tasting products.
The creativity and skill of our food scientists and technologists is essential to ensure that we stay competitive in an industry of ever-changing consumer tastes and trends. Red Gold’s Research and Development Department continuously strives to create and maintain an arsenal of formulations for a wide variety of tomato products that our customers want or need.
