Continuous Improvement: A Peak Performance Journey

Peak Performance, Red Gold's term for our continuous improvement journey, is a very important facet of our company culture. Red Gold is composed of many different specialists and generalists, who work each day to make our product better.

For some, that might mean improving a genetic strain. For others, it could be figuring out a method to pack products more efficiently. Still others may discover how to get the many products we make into our customer's hands a little more quickly.

We collaborate with Purdue University, assuring we are trained in the latest lean manufacturing techniques, to enhance our Peak Performance initiative.  Employees receive company sponsored, on-site education through Purdue University‘s Technical Assistance Program (TAP). This program provides our employees with up-to-date manufacturing skills and tools needed to be increasingly productive and successful.

TAP provides each team member opportunities to use their creativity and resources, to put new and improved processes into place.  Peak Performance aligns lean manufacturing processes with Red Gold’s business objectives.

PEAK PERFORMANCE. Accept Nothing Less

Congratulations to each of our new Gold Belts

July 05, 2007  The latest class of Level 3 Gold Belts have completed their training. Graduates have learned and applied TPM methods to improve line efficiency on Line 1 in Elwood, as well as put into practice Project Management skills learned in level 3. All Gold Belt Peak Practitioners should be capable of facilitating and/or leading projects during the upcoming year.
